Here is a couple of pictures of what went down this past weekend. As you all know, from my previous post, my graduation ceremony was this past Sunday. I proudly walked across the stage and shook the hand of the Dean (whom I have never met) and the Provost of the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences. Here is a picture of Allison and I in front of the building where the commencement was taken held at. Boy, am I glad that it was indoors…it was quite hot outside that day.
Here is my Master’s hood that took away two precious years of my life. Other than this distinction, my robe was a bit different a bit fancier than the Bachelor’s but not as velvety as the PhD’s.
The UCI ICS ceremony this year was especially small. I wonder why…As graduate students are supposed to go first, I was planning on sitting there for a couple of hours waiting for all of the undergraduate students to be called on stage. Surprisingly, the whole ceremony (including the speeches) took approximately one whole hour and that’s it. Trust me, I’m not complaining…as I recall, for my undergraduate graduation ceremony, I had to sit and wait for about 2 hours after my turn on stage. It was nasty, no doubt.

Yay!!
Your graduation was nice and short – unlike my brothers, where I had to sit outside in the blazing hot sun for THREE HOURS!!!! ick.
Congratulations once again!! I love you!
