And just when you thought that I’d never blog again eh?! :) It’s been a while…a very long while since I last blogged. It’s probably been one of the longest hiatuses that I’ve been on from blogging. I’ve been hiding away from the world contemplating my world domination. And of course, I WOULDN’T want the “world” to know of my glorious plans before I dominate “it”...right?

I’ve been busy lately as usual. Here are two launches that I want to announce.

Also, today…yes! Today! Oct. 1st, my team here at Yahoo! has launched the redesigned version of Yahoo! Health. Currently the site is being labeled as Beta and will continue to be in Beta for another month.

In other news, a couple of weeks ago, I was up north kayaking with my coworkers (the hard working engineers from my business unit) near Yahoo! HQ. More specifically, at Moss Landing near Santa Cruz. It was fun even though I was dead-tired afterward. A typical kayak there only carries 2 people at most. However I was the odd one out of our whole group. So with 2 of my teammates, we got the BATTLESHIP (as I call it) of all kayaks! Kayaking becomes incredibly difficult when you have the BATTLESHIP. To be honest, we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. Anyhow, it was a slow and painful trip up and down the waterway (?). Nonetheless, we had a blast (not sure if one of my teammates who sat right in front of me in the kayak would agree with this statement so much as I accidentally whacked her on the head with one of the paddles…sorry).

Right after the kayaking trip, I was up north again. However, this time it wasn’t for work. I was up in NorCal with Allison, her dad and her sister to help her sister move into her college dorm. We stayed over Allison’s aunt’s place in Monterey for a couple of days while we were there. It is such a nice house on a hill overlooking the beach. Anyways, we visited Point Lobos and the Monterey Bay aquarium, I got myself a spiffy t-shirt there :). And yes, Allison, Bobo (the cat) was trying to attack me!
